Who we are
This website is operated by the business trading as EliteRak Marrakech (“EliteRak”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at WhatsApp +39 329 126 1956.
We are a concierge and property-management service in Marrakech. This page explains what happens to personal data that reaches us through this website, in plain language.
The short version
- The only personal data we ask you for is what you type into a request form: your name, a way to reach you, and what you are looking for.
- We do not sell data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we take no payment on this website.
- As things stand today this site sets no analytics and no advertising cookies at all. The Cookie Policy always shows the live list.
- You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, and we will.
What we collect, and why
When you send a request
The form asks for your name, an email address or telephone number, the kind of stay or service you are interested in, the size of your party, and anything you want to tell us. We also record which page the request came from, because it tells us what you were reading when you decided to write.
We use it to answer you and, if you go ahead, to organise the stay. The legal basis is that you asked us to take steps before entering a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you continue on WhatsApp
Our forms can hand your request to WhatsApp already written out, so you can read it before sending. Nothing reaches WhatsApp unless you press send yourself.
If you do send it, the conversation takes place on infrastructure operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd under their own terms, and we hold your number and the conversation on the device our team uses.
When you write to us directly
If you email us or message us, your message and your address stay in our mailbox for as long as we need them to deal with the matter.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records the ordinary technical details of every request: IP address, browser, time, and the page requested. It keeps the site running and makes abuse investigable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data, to anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not build advertising profiles and we run no automated decision-making.
- We never ask for card details on this website, so we never hold them.
- We do not publish guest names, reviews or photographs of guests.
Who else sees your data
The list is short on purpose, and this is all of it.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, if — and only if — you choose to continue the conversation on WhatsApp.
- The local partners needed to deliver what you asked for: the owner or manager of the property, and where relevant the driver, the chef or the guide. They receive the minimum that lets them do their job, usually a name, a date, a number of guests and a telephone number.
- Google Ireland Ltd, but only if website analytics is switched on. At the date at the top of this page it is not.
We do not pass requests to other agencies, to lead brokers, or to marketing companies.
Data leaving the European Economic Area
We work in Marrakech, so answering your request means handling your data in Morocco. The European Commission has not adopted an adequacy decision for Morocco.
Where the transfer is necessary to arrange the stay you asked for, it takes place under Article 49(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract concluded at your request. We send abroad only what delivering the service actually requires.
How long we keep it
- Requests that do not lead to a stay: 24 months from your last message, then deleted.
- Requests that do lead to a stay: for the stay, and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
- Server logs: for the period our hosting provider applies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to hand it to another provider, or to object to processing we base on legitimate interest. There is no charge, and we answer within one month.

If you think we have handled it badly you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Morocco that is the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP).
Children
This service is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16. If you believe we hold data about a child, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes to this page
We update this page when what we do changes, and the date at the top tells you when that last happened. If we ever add a tool that collects more than what is described here, this page changes with it.
