Marrakech

Guest Houses in Marrakech.

Maisons d’hotes around Marrakech: houses with a handful of suites, a garden and a kitchen that cooks for guests, run by people who live on site. Smaller and quieter than a hotel, less solitary than a villa. Some sit in the Palmeraie a few minutes from the medina; others are out in open country, where the silence is the point and a driver is not optional.

Common questions

Can we book the whole guest house?

Usually yes, on request, and it is quoted separately from individual suites. For a family or a group it is worth asking, because it turns a shared house into a private one for not much more.

How far are they from the medina?

It depends entirely on the property. Some are ten minutes away in the Palmeraie; others are half an hour out in the countryside. We say which on each listing, because it is the fact that decides whether the place suits you.

Is there always a pool?

Almost always, but heating is the question that matters between December and February. An unheated pool in a Marrakech January is scenery, not swimming, so ask us to confirm it for your dates.
